Something finally clicked…My friends were so excited about this new diet
“you can lose 17lbs in 5 weeks”… I would normally jump right in because I am competitive.. use expel diuretics and count on dehydrated weigh-ins after 1 hr of running on a treadmill to lose 20lbs…Wait what?? No thank you …I declined

Until I joined AB Fitness Center Personal Training, I have never had confidence in my meal plan ( can’t even call it a diet.. that’s a 4 letter word) For the first time in my life I’m not scared of food.
For the first time in my life I’m not afraid to step on the scale because in 7 months I lost 9lbs and didn’t gain it back! That’s progress.
For the first time in 30 years (I think my first round of Weight Watchers was when I was 10) what I choose to eat isn’t some sort of game with points. I finally gave up on that after the points kept changing with a new improved program every year.
For the first time, I have accepted that excessive cardio was not changing my body composition and that I was actually abusing my body with the intensity I was trying to exercise at on the daily.
The personal trainers proved 30 min of lifting 2-3 times a week is enough to change my body. AB Fitness doesn’t make me do unique exercises or excessive repetitive burpees to trick me into thinking a crazy hard workout means I’ll get better results. The basics! Stick to them .. repeat them… lift heavier ..that’s it!
AB Fitness Nutrition team taught me the importance of macros and fueling my body … it’s not rocket science nor is it meant to be a cruel game … eating 800 calories a day is not commendable. What I learned. Eat the most amount of calories I can while still losing weight and/or inches!
