We work so hard for our families and our careers but we sometimes forget to focus on ourselves.
I am sick of dads being ashamed of how they look when their shirts are off

Carve out time in your week to strength train
We need to get you to put muscle back on your frame and we need to get you strong again. It won’t take much to build up your body again. But strength training done for only 30min 2-4xs a week is enough to rebuild back!
Let’s get back to eating like men!
It’s time to up your protein intake gentleman! Protein is the building block for muscle and will help you lose fat. Make sure you have 50g of protein every time you sit down to eat a meal. That’s about 8oz of protein or 2 palm fulls every time you have a meal
Screw cardio Instead do a 10 min walk after every meal
I hate cardio, can’t stand it in fact. Too much cardio makes you look skinny fat. It burns muscle and is not optimal to get rid of dad bod. But we need to do activities daily to help burn fat. A better approach is after you eat get up and move for 10-15 minutes. This will help your body to:
Utilize the food you just ate so you don’t feel bloated
Improve digestion so you can lose fat and gain muscle
Improve health markers so that you can live longer
Improve aches and pains
